The Arts Coalition of Asbury Park is asking Asbury Park residents to complete an online survey to assess the arts community.
The survey is 14 questions, several of which are open-ended to prompt discussion on topics such as the strengths and weaknesses of Asbury Park in fostering the arts.

"This is the first comprehensive survey of artists, arts related businesses, supporters and arts administrators in the area," ArtsCAP President Mark McDonald said in a news release.
"This information will become the basis of a strong and continually changing database that will allow ArtsCAP to become all things arts related in Asbury Park," he said. "With this working database, we will be able to create an arts resource guide that will benefit our community."
Asbury Park residents and ArtsCAP board members Dennis Carroll and William Whitefield worked closely with Asbury Park resident Jeffrey Werblyo to create the online survey, according to the release.
